This unique, one of a kind piece was entirely hand stitched and took over 10 hours to complete. A high polished, hand-cut Royal Imperial Jasper gemstone is the focal of this statement necklace. Royal Imperial Jasper is a rare and expensive gemstone found primarily in one location in Mexico. It is formed entirely as nodules which are generally small and flat in size (about 2"), and have a smooth, soft white or orangish chalky outside with an “egg” pattern.

A delicate Lucite flower sits atop the gemstone which has been encased in soutache braiding of warm gold and cream. Small Swarovski pearls further embellish the piece to accentuate the swirling greens and blues in the gemstone.

The piece is backed with a stabilizer and finished in Ultrasuede.
